![]() I was ready to go head and make a G5 since im pretty close tho it would take everything Ive got. He was not asking you to search through 6700 posts, but rather just to post there instead.Īppreciate it, Xymnala. What he said is correct, there is a thread dedicated to BA questions, and you should not be making a new topic for questions like this. ![]() Oh and I’m just like this because of your attitude towards XtehXpwnagerX. I already gave you a link for a damage calc which allows you to calculate everything for nearly every situation so if you aren’t so lazy you could work it out for yourself, thanks.Īs for fusing, if you knew how to use google you could find this () By only changing your armor, it isn’t always enough to deliver what you want. Most of the time you need a compromise between certain stats and therefore, just calling “best” isn’t enough to determine what you want. Some situations require accuracy more than actual dps, and for instance, in WM, your boss damage/non boss damage multipliers is halfed. However, just stating “best” doesn’t help. If you want to know which weapon specifically is best for DAMAGE, it would be the one that has the highest tier/rank, highest unob, highest attack (3k max), crit chance to 95%, and enough attack speed to 25. ![]() What I’m saying is there is no such thing as “specific ideas” for the weapon. Go crawl back under whatever rock you came from. Clearly that is wayyy better than simply asking for modern advice from pros. I had no idea there were 6700 posts (mostly outdated) that I could dig through for days and days to try to glean something out of. > Oh and XtehXpwnagerX, thanks for that super useful advice. Do i go ahead and buy it? Then what? Level it up first? Fuse it with what? Or do I enchant it as much as possible before fusing? (which seems inefficient). > But the weapon is my first priority because it delivers the base Equipment damage, plus the type of attack where really longrange glaive/polearm seems to work best. Then add Accuracy, defense, whatever is needed. Once I have the ‘best’ weapon, I can use my armor and mess with bonuses and such to make it work. > Im really looking more for specific ideas on what weapon to get. If you want to really optimize your gear to the best performance, you would need to use something like this ()Īnd change the numbers according to the choices of armors and weapons you have access to, and find the setup which gives you the highest average damage.įor just a very rough idea, prioritize: attack speed till 25, crit chance till 95 then crit damage. This means that even if you have the best weapon for your current setup, by changing 1 piece of armor, it may disturb your attack/crit damage ratio for example, and therefore your weapon may no longer be the “best” and you need a new weapon with less attack, but more crit chance. There are different priorities for mining, Bossing, SC, Triangle Hideout, SD, WM mode etc. Furthermore, this is also dependant on what you want to do with the set. The “best” is dependant on all the stats from every piece of armor, skill, buffs etc. As a rule of thumb I normally use a sword for my attack training, baxe for my str and def training and a 2h on high hp enemies (dungeons/hard slayer monsters) but sometimes if its a really tough enemy ill use a baxe and shield combo for more defence. It is impossible to say what is the “best” weapon without telling us anything about your current setup. And 2h weapons offer the highest str bonus but at the cost of really slow att speed. battle axes offer a mixture between high strength and defence training capabilities but are slower. Scims are good quick weapons for training strength. Swords give you the highest attack bonus and on a short cool-down. In terms of whats the best weapon, it really depends on what you want to focus on training. On top of that at later levels its an amazing money maker (up to 2m per hour afk). When you get to higher tiers it needs a heaaaaap of coal. What i do for those is mine the highest ore I can in spurts and then always put coal mining over night. I personally focused on att/str/def so mining and smithing are my main two crafts. Kills will take 10 mins and even then the probability of getting an armour/weapon piece is only roughly 1%>5%. But I would say focus on trying to craft your own gear as much you can, a lot of the upgrades are from monsters who you'll have 15% attack chance on unless you have decent gear. Hey mate - I'm only about 40 hours in so far so no where near an expert.
